Hi
I just sold my henckle 4 star cleaver as I didn't like how it didn't come
to a sharp edge. Seems like it was made to chop bones only. Can you recommend
a cleaver that comes to a SHARP edge so I can use it for multiple functions.
I would really like it to be my #1 cutting, chopping tool.
Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve,
Usually it is the sharpener or the technique that is the problem and not
the knife/cleaver but that ship has sailed. There are a number of really
sharp cleavers out there. I will give you 3 pages to look at:
Global Cleaver
Kershaw Cleaver
Here is a whole page of F Dick Cleavers
which makes good quality cutlery. They are not as quite sharp as the 2
listed above.
If you like the Global one in the first link I got a return recently and
could give you a really good deal for it. 40% off for a brand new cleaver
with a beat up box.
Call me if you want that one and I will do it over the phone with you.
